Cascade Optical is a third-generation eyewear boutique and finish lab run with brio since 1982. We rake the world for spectacles urbane to outrageous, subtle to shouty – always minding substance over the logo. We thrive on keeping West Michigan on the artist edge in eyewear, working with old school high-touch opticianry.

Though we insist on precision and supreme function, we feel glasses are the furthest thing from a medical appliance. Glasses create icons. Glasses are a visual-functional treat. They sell artists, render characters, arouse poets, and steal gigs; they win elections and push culture like few things can. To do this however, they have to be the real product of a real design mind, executed with the best materials and technical craft, and placed on the right head. This is what we set out to do, and this is what keeps our clients immune to a slavish trendiness.
